The problem

School operations span many roles and many critical handoffs.

Admissions, student documents, attendance, schedules, report cards, payments and family communication are closely related but are often managed in separate tools or manual steps. Schools need consistent processes without losing the permissions and context each role requires.

How I approached the build

A deliberate path from workflow to operation.

The architecture is only useful when it supports a practical sequence of engineering decisions.

    Establish the school boundary

    Use school-scoped routes, role-aware authorization and modular access decisions so each workflow starts from the right organizational context.

    Digitize the student journey

    Connect admissions, documents, records, schedules, attendance and academic outcomes instead of treating each process as an isolated form.

    Support the work behind the screen

    Use queues, scheduling, real-time updates and document intelligence for exports, notices, review work and time-consuming processing.

    Package the application, data and supporting services as secure containerized components with observability and dependable service boundaries.
